Ellen C. Anderson is a communications pro with more than a decade of experience in traditional and digital media strategy, messaging, and brand development. She currently serves as communications director for Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan.
Before joining the Governor and Lieutenant Governor's office, Ellen provided communications strategy for the state's COVID-19 response. She has also served as communications director for Senate DFL Leader Tom Bakk and digital director for the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party during the 2014 and 2016 campaign cycles. Ellen has a proven track record of bringing people together around shared values and identifying strategic media opportunities.
